Friday, June 1, 2102-Driving Lima to Minnesota
We left home at 5:30am to begin the drive to our first
campground destination in Worthington, Minnesota. Kim’s
parents met us in New Haven, Indiana and we followed each other through Indiana,
Illinois, and Iowa before arriving at Olson’s City Park Campground in Minnesota
at near sundown. What was suppose to be a 12 hour drive, per Google, took us 15 hours. We had a couple extra pit stops and it was a rather rainy windy day which caused our progress to be slower, but it is all good. Plus, I was getting use to pulling the new camper trailer. We covered 764 miles. It was a nice campground which set on a nice lake, but too bad we
could not enjoy it for very long.
